Cornyn Holds 17 Point Lead
June 9, 2008
A new poll released by Rasmussen shows Senator Cornyn with a 17 point lead, 52-35, putting him above the 50 percent mark which has been the cornerstone of his opponent's campaign thus far.
You may recall this is the same poll that just one month ago claimed it was a four point race.
One interesting cross tab in the new poll; Rick Noriega's favorable/unfavorable rating is 43-39, not a good sign for the effectiveness of his introduction to the Texas electorate.
