Cornyn Supports Mortgage Disclosure

 

Senator Cornyn today introduced legislation that would require all Senate members to include information about their residential mortgages on their annual financial disclosure reports.

The Senator is the ranking Republican on the Senate Ethics Committee.

If you want to watch someone who stands up against corruption, you should watch Lou Dobbs on CNN.  Good guy.  Mr. Independent.

Before this amendment there was a loophole in our government.   Politicians could hide or get preferential treatment with mortage companies.

 

I think revealing your financial status is an excellent idea.
