TX: McCain, Cornyn Surge

Just one month ago, Scott Rasmussen claimed John McCain had a slim 5% lead over Obama and sitting US Senator John Cornyn barely lead Democrat Rich Noriega by a mere 4%. One month later, Rasmussen now claims both candidates hold double-digit leads. McCain now leads by 13% and Cornyn has moved to a 17% lead.

PRESIDENT - TEXAS
John McCain (R) 52%
Barack Obama (D) 39%

US SENATE - TEXAS
John Cornyn (R-inc) 52%
Rich Noriega (D) 35%

We sure have some fickle people down in Texas to see such a large swing in a single month. This poll was done June 2nd among 500 likely voters.
